Since the game doesn't work (your bug 39715) this may be a duplicate. Are you
sure the patch should work if the game doesn't run?

Hello Austin English,

Just retest the halo-pc-patch-1.0.10.exe. It works fine in wine-1.7.50.
In wine-1.8rc2 the patch states Halo is not installed.
