1.4.1 is a really old one, update to latest 1.5.25 and try again. If it still doesn't work attach terminal output as a text file (do not paste is as comment message please).
I updated wine to version 1.5.25. It did not solve my problem

The original version can no longer be downloaded, I tested the XP version (13.0.3) and it does not start complaining that MS Access is not installed (tried mdac, jet, dao)...
Since there was no reply to last retest request over 1 year ago I'm resolving as abandoned.
