Trying to apply the 1.2.0 Patch for Crysis fails. It starts, but trying to
apply the patch results in:
"The wizard was interrupted before Crysis could be completely installed"

This is still a relevant issue as of 1.1.5, and it seems to affect other games
such as Sins of a Solar Empire, whom installer simply does not install. I have
the same log output as the original poster. Is there any testing or debugging
commands we should run to provide more information?

By the comments in de AppDB looks like this bug is fixed, can anyone test it in
Wine 1.1.10 or newer?

Log +seh

With latest wine 1.1.12 + clean prefix the patcher still fails. It loads, but
it does not copy any files. I have attached a +seh log.

Thanks. There's a source in your registry that includes the cabinet filename.
Can you try installing Crysis in a fresh prefix with the patch applied, and
then run the patcher again?

The patcher still fails, but with different symptoms. It takes a long time
before it tells me that it fails. However, the main error messages seem to be
the same all the time.

I noticed that your patch made it into the tree, so I updated my git and tried
again. The error messages have not changed :

In current git (wine-1.2-422-ge158bb0), I have been able to patch the game up
to 1.20. However, patch 1.21 does not work. "WINEDEBUG=+msi wine 1.21.exe" does
not even yield terminal output.

Hans, do you have a recommendation to help me find some information for you
