--- Comment #2 from Ruslan b7.10110111@gmail.com 2011-08-01 14:39:00 CDT --- This is the only line of output:
fixme:pager:PAGER_Create [0x100be] Drag and Drop style is not implemented yet.
which seems unrelated. The thing is, it's not just strange hang - I can see drawing progress, i.e. new and new lines making the image appearing over time, but it's very slow, not as one might want it to be.

--- Comment #3 from Frédéric Delanoy frederic.delanoy@gmail.com 2013-02-20 08:28:31 CST --- Does the issue still occur in recent wine (1.5.24 or later versions)?

--- Comment #4 from Ruslan Kabatsayev b7.10110111@gmail.com 2013-02-20 13:44:02 CST --- Yes, I still reproduce the delay related to rendering the images. I don't remember how long it was at the time I reported this, but now it seems to have become smaller (about 0.5-1 sec on P4 machine currently). Tested with wine-1.5.24-35-gc449427.

I tested it as well, and it's near instantly displayed now, so I guess this bug can be closed. You reported "several seconds" in your original submission, so the current 0.5-1 seconds seem quick enough.
Feel free to reopen if the problem still occurs in the future.
