Summary: After minimizing Guild Wars and restoring, the mouse is not respondig correctly Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: starmatz71@yahoo.de
If i minimize Guild Wars and after that i restore it back following happens to me: If i click at anything on the screen nothing happens, i have to use my keyboard.
If compiz is enabled (normally it shouldn't) and i use e.g. the taskswitcher and i resore gw then the axis of my mouse don't have the same speed anymore in any direction. (left is slow and right is fast for example)

--- Comment #4 from Amaroq coolsteve64@yahoo.com 2009-02-16 07:03:16 --- I have this bug as well, but I don't have to minimize to get it to happen. I cannot click on anything in the game, from as soon as I'm logged in and in-world.
Wine 1.1.14, ATI HD3870, fglrx.

--- Comment #5 from Amaroq coolsteve64@yahoo.com 2009-02-16 07:11:15 --- I forgot to mention, there is no mouse cursor when this is happening. If I click or press anything, a mouse cursor appears. But it is the default wine mouse cursor, not the golden in-game cursor.

--- Comment #6 from Amaroq coolsteve64@yahoo.com 2009-02-16 07:29:47 --- I don't seem to get this issue if I run it with the -windowed flag.

I don't seem to get this issue if I run it with the -windowed flag.
This fixed my no mouse click issue.

--- Comment #9 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2011-03-29 19:30:49 CDT --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 6 months. Is this still an issue in current (1.3.16 or newer) wine?

--- Comment #10 from sworddragon2@aol.com 2011-07-31 03:17:38 CDT --- I can reproduce this problem on Wine 1.3.25. But it happens only sometimes after the game is minimized and then restored. If it happens I see the golden mouse cursor from Guild Wars but if I want to make an action with it (for example right click and look around) the mouse doesn't react on the right click.

--- Comment #11 from sworddragon2@aol.com 2012-02-28 09:19:19 CST --- I'm using now Wine 1.4 RC5 and the X-Server 1.11.4. This problem hasn't happen to me the last time. Can somebody else with the same or higher setup reproduce the problem?
