A Reddit user complained today in

that Endnote X4 didn't display text in the left hand page.
That's also a complaint in the appdb.

The current demo is Endnote X5, but it has the same problem.
The console shows lots of
fixme:richedit:ME_HandleMessage EM_FORMATRANGE: stub
fixme:richedit:ME_HandleMessage EM_DISPLAYBAND: stub
'winetricks riched20' works around it.

As the appdb page for Endnote x3 says, though, it's not a usable
workaround because native riched20 breaks reference card editing
pretty badly.

The older versions of Endnote are not available for download, for some reason I
can't get the trial form for Endnote X7 to work.

Is this still and issue in wine 1.7.16 (or newer)?
