--- Comment #3 from Ilya Chernykh neptunia@mail.ru 2008-11-25 09:55:04 --- I can verify that on Windows: CS even in game mode does not load processor even 25%. Not to say menu mode.
By the was, this problem emerged when was added possibility to minimize game window. Before that even under Linux CS did not load processor. So this is a relatively recent regression.

--- Comment #5 from Ilya Chernykh neptunia@mail.ru 2008-11-26 13:47:40 --- I've tried with Wine starting from 1.1.7 but found the same problem. Possible the regression not with Wine but with the Linux system or xorg.

--- Comment #9 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-11-27 13:26:54 --- And confirming. On win2k Counter-Strike 1.6 uses 3-5% of CPU. On Wine that's about 15% - 20%. Not huge difference but 4-5 times bigger then windows.

--- Comment #10 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-11-27 13:28:43 --- Actually CS does use 100% of one CPU (I have dual core). Sorry was looking at the wrong numbers.
60% CS and 40% wineserver.

--- Comment #11 from Ilya Chernykh neptunia@mail.ru 2008-11-28 06:29:03 --- Well if it wsas 25% it could be enhancement, but 100% load is definitely bug.

--- Comment #12 from Ilya Chernykh neptunia@mail.ru 2008-11-28 06:30:10 --- It is about infinite loop or something.

--- Comment #13 from Jeff Zaroyko jeffz@jeffz.name 2009-01-02 03:34:09 --- Doesn't look like a regression... although I don't recall wineserver having high cpu usage. I've observed 40-60% for wineserver over a period of 10 minutes, with 0.9.52, 1.1.2 and latest git.
oprofile doesn't show wineserver using much time at all.
