Looks like it could be copy protection related... lot of strcmp's on function names before the crash. Supposedly it uses securom.
Does it get any further if you use a crack?

--- Comment #4 from Luke Bratch l_bratch@yahoo.co.uk 2009-10-10 05:55:15 --- Sorry, I should have said - it fails on copy protection without a crack so this IS using a crack.

--- Comment #5 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net 2011-06-08 16:26:31 CDT --- Hello,
long time no answer. That crash is most likely not copy protection related.
According to websites:
--- quote --- Title: Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising Version: v1.0 Developer: Codemasters Publisher: Codemasters Language: multi (ger/en/fr/it/esp) MediaType: DVD
Scanning -> D:\OF Dragon Rising\OFDR.exe File Type : 32-Bit Exe (Subsystem : Win GUI / 2), Size : 26812416 (01992000h) Byte(s) [File Heuristics] -> Flag : 00000000000000000000000000000001 (0x00000001) [!] SecuROM Detected - Version 07.40.0009 [CompilerDetect] -> Visual C/C++ - Scan Took : 0.157 Second(s) --- quote ---
It should work for the protection. Marking abandoned, reopen if problem still present with recent Wine version.
