--- Comment #1 from Henri Verbeet hverbeet@gmail.com --- It's not entirely clear from the bug report, but is anything wrong with the application? The issue highlighted by that FIXME will typically make the screen or part of it look aliased/"blocky", but generally shouldn't make things much worse otherwise.

Hi Henri,
The games do run but I did notice a slight delay between launching the application's menu while this output is being spammed somewhat and I think the only way to bring up the menu is by clicking a few times in its window or otherwise it remains black until I do so.
Not sure if that makes this bug report valid in your opinion or not, however.

Assuming that's not how the application is supposed to work, that's a valid bug. But then that's what the bug report should be about, instead of the message by itself. The message may or may not be related.

Millenium Digger game released in 2000 year is also affected by this bug. There is no background! I attach a screenshot and log file with Crossover (I'd also tested with Wine and Wine Staging).

--- Comment #7 from Matheus matheus.venturini@acad.ufsm.br --- Created attachment 74434 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=74434 Flight Unlimited screenshot with Wine 8.7
This also affects Flight Unlimited, but it makes it unplayable (it can only be launched from the terminal because of what I think is an unrelated error, otherwise it crashes at startup because of a failed memory read). Three fourths of the screen are completely black and the actual game "window" is very glitchy and almost completely black and white. The screenshot is from the very beginning, it's supposed to show a miniature plane.
