Hello,

When exiting the Outcast game or the Outcast demo 1, I can't skip credits by
pressing "escape"... It lasts about 4 minutes!

This is annoying because Outcast runs in 512x384 so if I kill wine, my desktop
resolution doesn't come back in 1680x1050.
Nevertheless, If I wait 4 minutes it's ok!

You can try the Outcast demo 1, maybe it's easy to solve.

The same with wine-1.3.24-174-g4b4dd30: the video showing the credits is
unskippable (tried in fullscreen as well as in virtual desktop mode).

A good workaround for me is just to alt+F4 straight out of the game instead of
quitting.

Sorry for another post but it seems that the winecfg option "Graphics > Allow
the window manager to control the windows" prevents you from using the
Escape-key to stop the credits when you want to exit the game. You can disable
this option to allow you to exit the game quickly, but this will affect other
in-game buttons (the save-game button F2 will no longer work, for example.)

Still present in 1.5.22.
The patch from bug #8854 (attachment #26153) applied on 1.5.22 fixes the
problem and the video showing the credits can be skipped by pressing the <Esc>
key.

Tested on Fedora 18
