the program juggernautclient.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to
close.
Exception EExternalException in module ntdll.dll at 0001F977. External
exception C0000025

this is what i see when i launch a program. if you need some more information i
will be glad to give it to you.

Hello,

the russian version of game client seems to be a small bootstrapper:

The english version has full download:

The client updates various files on first startup from online server.

After update it runs into:

which can be worked around: 'winetricks vcrun2008'

The client brings its own embedded mozilla/gecko browser engine which seems to
work (GUI is usable).
I don't have an account so I can't test further.

In short: can't reproduce -> might be Wine-on-OSX specific problem.

NOTE: the msvcp80 variant is covered by bug 26832

Obviously still present.

"Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 Trial" also suffers from this.

I am receiving the exact same error with MS Communicator 2007 R2 (volume
license). I installed Wine & then MS Communicator to use for work; haven't even
run winetricks yet.

Here is some basic version info, please let me know if there is any other
information required:

- Arch Linux (64-bit)
- wine 1.5.9 (32-bit)

I will use winetricks to work around for now & once completed will add to AppDB
with every step.

Hello, tested with Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 Trial, the app start
with an error

"Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 cannot start. The product license may be
expired because you are using a pre-release or evaluation copy of the program,
or the product key information may have been modified in your Windows registry.
Please run Setup to uninstall and then reinstall Office Communicator"

I'm not sure whether it is expected, but at least this bug is fixed ;-)
