Doesn't seem to make any discernible difference apart from that err message going away.

I've tried running it with: The launcher icon it installs. "wine Wizard101.exe" from the game directory "wine "C:/Program Files/KingsIsle Entertainment/Wizard101/Wizard101.exe"" from several different directories. and the Wizard101.exe from several other directories including the Bin folder and the PatchClient/BankB folder.
It doesn't appear to run any differently between these different ways of running it.

This is a debug log when run on an Intel card. You can see the characters just fine.

--- Comment #4 from Agrippas aris@ftou.gr 2009-04-28 21:56:04 --- I have the same problem. Characters (including enemies and myself) are not rendered. It spoils the fun of the game and also makes it unplayable in advanced levels.

--- Comment #5 from Agrippas aris@ftou.gr 2009-04-29 00:53:42 --- I found a quick solution: winecft, graphics, UNCHECK "allow pixel shader".

--- Comment #9 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2010-09-07 16:48:42 CDT --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.3.2 or newer) wine?

What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |raven@phoenyx.net
--- Comment #10 from Carl Cravens raven@phoenyx.net 2010-12-10 09:01:29 CST --- There has been a known work-around for this (turn off hardware vertex shader and/or pixel shader in winecfg) since 1.1.x.
Assuming that this is considered an acceptable solution by the developers, this bug can be closed.
