Summary: No libgl On the box, therefore OPENGL quits Product: Wine Version: 0.9.58. Platform: Macintosh OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: opengl AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: pjmikols@mac.com
when launching applications, the libgl directly is incorrectly linked, i believe this is the reason for the OPEN GL that keeps failing to load... and launch programs.

--- Comment #3 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2008-04-20 02:11:26 --- Have you tried installing X11 from fink instead of using Apple's?

--- Comment #4 from Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmx.net 2008-04-20 02:55:50 --- The correct Xserver version is VERY important. In various versions the opengl implementation is broken. In some cases it enters an infinite loop and crashes due to that in other versions you can get such issues. I'm not sure if it should work fine at all as even when it finds opengl you need several hacks in Wine to get opengl in a usable state.

--- Comment #7 from Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmx.net 2008-06-26 12:18:49 --- Since this bug is a duplicate of 10184 and that one was invalid close it. The issue is some X11/GL bug on OSX.
