If I enable ALSA, but not OSS, in winecfg, and try to launch SMAC, it crashes
after showing the opening logo; attached is the console output.

Okay, I thought I attached it last time, but I guess not. This is with a build

Did this work with an earlier version of Wine?
Perhaps you could do a regression test to see
which patch caused the problem...

No, I have not tested this on earlier releases. I will also test to see if the
4.0 patch fixes the bug.

The demo installs, starts and I can create a new game. No crash with Wine
1.1.4.

Removing deprecated CVS/GIT version tag. Please retest in current git. If the
bug is still present in today's wine, but was not present in some earlier
version of wine, please update version field to earliest known version of wine
that had the bug. Thanks!
