The cd-rom version of the game works great (once you install mdac27), but the downloadable version has a problem: the button for "play trial version" on the main screen doesn't show up. "winetricks ie6" works around it.

The Play button is still missing in the launcher, when using Wine-1.3.31 and Gecko 1.3. The other buttons (Buy, Close, Unlock) do appear but they're unclickable with only Gecko installed. ie6 is still a workaround. I wonder if a +mshtml log might help?

--- Comment #5 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- The button shows up in 1.7.22, and the game starts (after winetricks mdac27). Sound is screwy (stderr shows lots of alsa underruns), but that's a separate bug.
