Not sure what this program does, but it doesn't work :-P.

Start infopath:
$ wine INFOPATH.EXE

You're given a bunch of sample forms to fill out.
Choose any one, double click:

'Infopath encountered an error. The operation failed.'

Output attached.

Did you remember the override for riched20? Infopath, like Powerpoint, won't
start without it.

With the override, it starts up fine for me in 1.2-rc2, but I get the same
result as originally reported after selecting a form.

Hmm, been a while, not sure off hand.

Infopath console log, 1.7.10

Still present in 1.7.10. Console output looks a little different from what was
originally posted, but the behavior is the same.
