If at any time WINE displays a DISABLED CONTROL -- a disabled button, checkbox, radio button -- from then on until the application is terminated, WINE incorrectly calculates the display length of on-screen text. It believes that text is displaying SHORTER than it actually is. So it then mis-wraps text, draws adjoining lines incorrectly, and truncates fields.

The problem is still present in Ubuntu 14.04.2 with WINE 1.6.2 and using latest SQRL development release from GRC.

The problem is still present in Ubuntu 14.04.2 with WINE 1.6.2 and using latest SQRL development release from GRC.
Please test if the problem still occurs with a more recent Wine version, 1.6.2 is over one year old. The current Wine development version is 1.7.49.

Bad Ubuntu kernel update stopped wine running on my PC Now fixed in kernel 3.13.0-61 Installed the latest wine from the ppa wine1.7 1:1.7.44-0ubuntu1
The problem still exists see the two SQRL screen shots showing the cliped text in the passwords option box when the option is selected and the text is changed to BOLD.
Just noticed a similar issue in the column headings of the drives tab of the wine configuration screen [ see third screen shot] which may, or may not, be related

--- Comment #8 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- I can confirm the clipped text on the SQRL Settings and Options screen in 1.7.48, using the file downloaded from the link in comment 2. The text is clipped even with a normal font. The problem is only on the Settings and Options screen.
Confirming and setting severity to trivial (UI glitch that does not affect functionality).
