--- Comment #1 from Louis Lenders xerox.xerox2000x@gmail.com --- Hi, I get a (lightly) different crash then you. For me the crash is gone after ``winetricks allfonts``. Could you try what that does for you and report back please?
The application apparently can`t connect to some kind of server, but that would then be another bug

--- Comment #2 from Louis Lenders xerox.xerox2000x@gmail.com --- And another thing: please upgrade to wine-2.22 or better use wine-staging 2.21 (that is what I used)
If I remember correctly with wine-2.0.3 you`ll probably run into https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42014 (but not 100% sure about that)
and I think with wine-2.22 you`ll run into bug https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38960

--- Comment #3 from mreev@protonmail.com --- Created attachment 59960 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=59960 crash log Daedalus.exe
The installation procedure works fine, unpacking the .exe in drive_c/Program Files/Daedalus/. I'm using Arch linux, see attachment for details on the kernel version. My Wine version is 3.0-rc2. The installation file can be gotten here: https://daedaluswallet.io/ (scroll down on their website) I got: daedalus-win64-1.0.3769.0-installer.exe Would be great if Wine could handle this simple GUI financial application.

Did you/can you try the ``winetricks allfonts`` from comment 1?

--- Comment #5 from mreev@protonmail.com --- Created attachment 59965 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=59965 New crash log, network based
Hi thanks for the suggestion! "winetricks allfonts" did in fact itself crash with: sha256sum mismatch! Rename /home/user/.cache/winetricks/wenquanyi/wqy-microhei-0.2.0-beta.tar.gz and try again. But ignoring this, it did solve the initial problem. A clear Daedalus window pops up, starts connecting to some server but hangs. So I ctrl-C'd the wine process and pasted a bit of the console output into a new attachment.
