I have to use a MS application Visio. My university is a member of the MSDNAA
aliance and therefore I have access to all binaries.

The installer (downloader_of_Visio_Professional_2007.exe) worked some months
ago but does not work anymore.

I just tried to call "wine iexplore" directly and even that crashed.

Do you have wine gecko installed?

Please make sure that your Wine package doesn't include the Pulse audio driver,
if it does - report all problems with that package to Fedora.

I am not sure if I have wine gecko installed. I remember just a few weeks ago
when using wine. A dialog popped up and told me it was going to install a gecko
plugin for website rendering. This did not appear this time I think.

I have asked a friend running currently Ubuntu 9.10 and he has the same
problem.

Looking at the audio tab in winecfg I have something called pulse.
I am not sure how to continue as this appears on Ubuntu too. And the Redhat
bugzilla is down right now...

I can certainly send you the downloader by mail it is just 412KB.

Closing as abandoned for now.  Please reopen with more detail if it still
happens on current wine.
