I had some extensive discussion with the crossover people, and they seemed to
suggest that the problem may needs to be fixed in some part of the Wine code.
That may be the case, but only because crossover office is a hacked up version of Wine, so if the bug is fixed in wine, then it'll work in crossover.
If that is possibly true, shouldn't you and users who may have a similar
problem know about it, and if possible fix it?
Sure, but you have to follow the rules when reporting *Wine* bugs.
