That bug wasn't resolved as fixed though. It was probably a duplicate of bug
42631 anyway, can you try with recent Wine staging and see if that makes any
difference?

The cursor moving to the bottom-right issue was fixed by
5ff6a116972089f8e112dd4234d57689a60ab4dc, which was included in Wine 4.3.

Shouldn't this be marked as a duplicate of bug 38791 or bug 42631 then?
