Bug ID: 48439 Summary: Tool selection bug in adobe Photoshop on Linux mint Product: Wine Version: 5.0-rc3 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: pourmirzai@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 66215 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=66215 right click when brush tool is selcted.
I've installed Photoshop CS6 on Mint 19.2 using Playonlinux. Everything is fine with no problem but when I want to select a tool or change tool attributes, the panel is empty and it shows my desktop inside the panel. I mean it looks like a hole in the app! I don't see any serious error in playonlinux debug panel. although when I open playonlinux, I get an error that says: PlayOnLinux is unable to find 32bits OpenGL libraries
I'm not sure if this error causes the problem.

--- Comment #2 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- Hello,
1. Issues in a single application are severity 'normal'. Read more about severity levels descriptions there: https://wiki.winehq.org/Bugs#severity
2. First, Make sure you install 32 bits opengl libraries if the application is 32 bits.
Check https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=277173 and https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=174365.
If you have issues finding/installing 32 bits opengl, please ask help on the linux Mint forums, not here. Let's keep this bug focused on bug status update.
3. Playonlinux is a third party project that use a wine version with patches and environment customization that winehq.org doesn't know about.
Please retest with vanilla wine-devel/wine-staging (current is 5.0-rc4).
4. If the issue is still present with 32bits opengl libraries and wine-devel/wine-staging, please attach a normal (=without WINEDEBUG) terminal output from vanilla wine-devel/wine-staging. Instructions to get a log can be found there: https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
Regards.

--- Comment #3 from Vyacheslaw slawa.s.m@gmail.com --- I acknowledge the existence of this bug. And this only happens in cinnamon. XFCE and KDE do not have this bug with the same other initial data. In them, another behavior is found in adobe audition 3.0 in the frequency analysis window, drop-down lists appear only for a moment and then immediately close, although they work fine in cinnamon. I researched this behavior on linux mint 20.1. Vine versions from 3.20 to 6.17 and 32-bit and 64-bit with the corresponding distributions of Photoshop cs6. Both 32-bit and 64-bit Photoshop cs6 behave the same. Maybe a floor error is the inability to see the window about Photoshop, which is also shown only milliseconds.
