Debug output from running Steam then running Unreal to get EULA Window

The EULA window for Unreal and Unreal Tournament(possibly other apps) does not
fill and becomes unresponsive bringing steam down with it. Debug output
included.

UT2004 its also affected by this behavior, when i remove the .wine directory
and reinstall steam (and link steamapps), then the EULA appears again, i used
to hit 'Accept' quickly and xkill the window before hangs, but it seems no
longer works with wine 1.1.25, i dont remember the las wine version witch works

A few minutes after submit the results i was able to accept the EULA, click
launch on steam, center the mouse to get it next EULA window will apear, then
click 'Accept' quick like hell (maybe more better processors will be faster
than mine and will be impossible), the directX intallation (STEP 2) will starts

Anyway the bug still present

Thanks for for the tip! I was able to quickly accept then it hanged, then I
restarted steam was able start up Unreal Gold properly.

Is this still an issue in current (1.3.9 or newer) wine?

Hello,

no reply for considerable amount of time, marking abandoned.

Reopen if you can reproduce with clean WINEPREFIX (regular user!) and _recent_
Wine version.
