Summary: Mushclient infobar text garbled Product: Wine Version: 1.1.15 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: grahame@regress.homelinux.org
Mushclient has a user programable infobar that can be used to display various information from the MUD such as hp and xp amongst other stats. Whilst some of the infobar works the text is garbled making it's use exceptionally limited.
It was mentioned on the AppDB page for mushclient that this was the case however no bug seems to have been officially opened to track the issue.
Attached is a screenshot showing the garbled infobar.

--- Comment #3 from Dasaan grahame@regress.homelinux.org 2009-02-15 16:33:32 --- I already have the ttf mscore fonts installed if that's what you mean. If not could you please elaborate on which fonts you mean.

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2009-02-15 19:25:00 --- No, corefonts doesn't install it. Likely, it needs symbol.ttf, which provides symbol fonts...wine doesn't yet have a replacement for it.

--- Comment #5 from Dasaan grahame@regress.homelinux.org 2009-02-16 12:24:44 --- I've copied the contents of windows\fonts\ from a windows computer and the text is now readable at the very least. I, personally, wouldn't call this bug fixed as this is more of a workaround and not a proper solution.

Of course, but we already have a bug for implementing symbol.ttf.
