Ashes cricket 2009 does not work at all i am able to install the game but it does not work
any workarounds for making it work?

Start by installing wine 1.2, not an ancient wine version. Attaching terminal output and describing the problem would also help.
can you please detail it i already have wine 1.2 installed :) i installed ac09 correctly but when i double click it gives the loading cursor but then noting happens

you need vcrun2005
well so first i run the wine tricks.sh file make it executable then run it then install vcrun 2005 but it closes as soon as i click it then i get the same error
