--- Comment #1 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2007-09-02 18:35:43 --- Please do not change original reported Wine version. Hover it would be helpful to set OS and Hardware. Can you switch tabs using keyboard? Also can you try if native comctl32.dll shows the same problem or not?

--- Comment #2 from Marc Wiriadisastra marc@mwiriadi.id.au 2007-09-03 07:25:38 --- The reason I changed the version was because the original version I tried it with was 0.9.42 then I upgraded to the latest version. Apologies if that confuses the situation.
I've got Fedora 7 installed that's the OS I'm using.
I will try using the native comctl32.dll and report back.

--- Comment #3 from Marc Wiriadisastra marc@mwiriadi.id.au 2007-09-03 08:14:01 --- Created an attachment (id=7946) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=7946) WINEDEBUG with comctl32 native
I installed the native comctl32 in .wine/drive_c/windows/system32 I then set winecfg to use native then builtin and the results are in the attachment.

--- Comment #4 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2007-09-03 10:28:34 --- The attachment says nothing about the actual problem. Are you able to switch tabs with native comctl32.dll?

--- Comment #5 from Marc Wiriadisastra marc@mwiriadi.id.au 2007-09-03 10:33:15 --- No With native I am still unable to switch tabs.

--- Comment #6 from Marc Wiriadisastra marc@mwiriadi.id.au 2007-09-09 02:00:14 --- Is there any debugging options I should put down from WINEDEBUG?
I've worked out a system to install it now. It needs IE5.5+ and corefonts and it functions fine. I'm not to sure what fonts it requires and why it requires IE5.5+ even with those installed though still can't switch tabs.
Would it help if I made a little video with istanbul of it? Not to sure how I can explain it properly as to what is going wrong.

--- Comment #7 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2007-10-16 19:57:09 --- I used this file:
http://myob.com/SecureDownload/MYOB_AU_BusinessBasics_v1_Test_Drive,0.exe
Which MYOB program are you using?
Confirmed in wine 0.9.47, ubuntu gusty. Didn't test native, no windows on this box.
For a work around, if you use the tab key to switch to the tabs at the top, then use the arrow key to switch to a different tab it looks like if you then click the space key, you can switch tabs. If I misunderstood what you're doing, please let me know.

--- Comment #8 from Marc Wiriadisastra marc@mwiriadi.id.au 2007-10-16 20:22:13 --- I'm using the education version 16 of MYOB. Which I think is equivalent to professional.
The work around you suggested works. I am able to click on the tab move the arrow keys to select the tab that I want then push space bar to get the tab opened.
Thanks for the feedback.

--- Comment #9 from Russell Butler russell@rj-il-butler.com 2008-05-12 21:03:30 --- I can confirm the same problem using MYOB 14.1 in wine 1.0-rc1 on a gentoo box.
The workaround using tab and spacebar does work.
In addition, choosing from drop-down list (eg an invoice form) fails. This certainly looks like an extension of the same problem. Using Tab/arrow/space doesn't seem to work there.
I use only one invoice, so can remove the other defaults as a work around, but that would not be acceptable in many circumstances.
