I receive this error when restoring BeyondCompare (2) from the minimized state,
or when switching virtual desktops with the application active.

fixme:event:wait_for_withdrawn_state window 0x20030/2c0002e wait timed out

I am using fluxbox window manager, and wine 1.1.7 from source, on Fedora 9
x86_64.  This also is able to be replicated on the current Fedora 9 version,
1.1.5.

Can you try with gnome or kde and see if you can reproduce the problem?

I am able to produce a similar problem, without the fixme event in KDE.

Steps to reproduce:
* Open Beyond Compare (e.g., ./wine "C:\Program Files\Beyond Compare
2\BC2.exe")
* Open a folder compare session.
* Select a file with differences.
* Change desktops

You will notice that the beyond compare windows travel with you to the new
desktop.  Another caveat: if, after selecting a file with differences, you
choose the main beyond compare window, and leave the file diff viewer maximized
in the background, and then change desktops....  Then you will see that the
title bar for the comparison is visible on the screen, and in the Alt+Tab
interface, but not in the task bar.

Confirming, sortof. In Gnome for me, use the same steps, but when you go to
desktop 2, it shrinks to about 4 pixels by 10, then trying to stretch it back
open shows it's frozen.

I cannot reproduce this bug on 1.2-rc3 with Arch Linux x64 and KDE 4.4.4 (no
kwin).
I do not receive any "ixme:event:wait_for_withdrawn_state window
0x20030/2c0002e wait timed out" errors, and Beyond Compare minimizes/restores
fine multiple times. I can also change desktops without any problems (without
the BC windows traveling with me).

Seems fixed to me.
