winrar works good on wine 1.3 but in 1.4 and 1.5 won't work.
The program installs and opens normally but compressing or decompressing any
file, simply turn off. Here is the log from the terminal

I can't reproduce this; the trial version of WinRAR 4.11 works fine for me in
1.5.5.

have you tried to extract or unzip anything?

I solved it by disabling all the graphics settings of wine ..

I installed wine 1.4 now i can't lunch application, this is the error

wine: cannot get pid from lock (lock isn't locked)

i think that isn't usefull beacuse now i running wine 1.4 and no appz run.
