Summary: [Microsoft Flight Simulator 98] clicking on button makes nothing Product: Wine Version: 1.2-rc5 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: jerome.bouat@wanadoo.fr
Created an attachment (id=29170) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=29170) the start screen where wine seems to be frozen
After installing Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 successfully, I tried to launch the game.
However, I click on the "choisir un vol" link but it makes nothing. This screen seems to be frozen (making a window appear on top of it and hide it doesn't refresh the content).

--- Comment #2 from Jeff Zaroyko jeffz@jeffz.name 2010-06-27 07:53:27 --- Is this a regression?

--- Comment #3 from Jérôme Bouat jerome.bouat@wanadoo.fr 2010-06-27 08:11:44 --- Yes it a regression.
I tried to run "git bisect" but the build process is often broken by a message which sound like ".*__base_install.*". This errors occurs after the end of the build during the install. Even with ccache, each wrong build needs a few hours. Several successive "git bisect skip" may last days.

--- Comment #5 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2010-06-27 14:00:32 --- err:winediag:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo The Mesa OpenGL driver is using software rendering, most likely your OpenGL drivers haven't been installed correctly
You have to fix this first.

--- Comment #6 from Jérôme Bouat jerome.bouat@wanadoo.fr 2010-06-27 14:45:04 --- Why software rendering isn't compatible, even if slow ?

--- Comment #7 from Jérôme Bouat jerome.bouat@wanadoo.fr 2010-07-10 15:58:43 --- My graphic card has no 3D features.
However, the 3D features weren't available on every game computer when I baugth this game. Thus it should work as it perfectly did with Microsoft Windows Millenium running on the same hardware.

--- Comment #8 from Jérôme Bouat jerome.bouat@wanadoo.fr 2010-11-02 14:40:09 CDT --- FYI, I will stop using the WineHq Bugzilla application because any logged user can easily tell a robot to grab email adresses, including mine.
I think an email address should always be a Bugzilla internal in order to communicate between the bugzilla servers and the user.
