This is the "crash" log.

I installed Excel Viewer 2007 from MSDN
(https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=10) and it's crash
when I start it.

Please attach the complete terminal output (not just the backtrace). Make sure
you start the application in a clean wineprefix.

I can't reproduce the problem, the application starts properly here in 1.7.42
and 1.7.43.

Unrelated, but the <Open file...> dialog doesn't work in Vista/7 profile.

Hello folks,

adding to Béla's comment ... also specify exactly for which locale you
downloaded/installed the viewer.
Let me guess - not the English one but rather Hungarian?

The viewers for different locales are definitely not the same version/builds
and the backtrace is useless unless you tell which one was used.

Besides that I can't reproduce the problem too, works fine here.

wine-1.7.43-123-g90ed96a

Loads fine for me.

Can you provide the document or link to something that causes a crash upon
load?

Also I don't see 'abandon' as valid bug solution here.

Either it works or not.
