Summary: Bad pictures display in Pentax Photo Laboratory software Product: Wine Version: 0.9.3. Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-binary AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: rpbyc@w.tkb.pl
Created an attachment (id=8011) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=8011) A screenshot presenting the coloured strips on the preview window.
There is a problem with proper display of an actually loaded picture in a preview window in the Pentax Photo Laboratory software, v. 3.0. Some part of the preview is always covered with a few coloured strips, and what is more, the strips influence the look of the histogram taken from the picture, so you do not really know how the histogram should really look... I attach a screenshot that represents the problem.

--- Comment #5 from Robert Bycul rpbyc@w.tkb.pl 2007-09-17 12:03:08 --- Well, after cleaning the config in user's directory and reinstalling the Pentax software, the programme starts, but nothing's changed as to the coloured strips, so the bug(?) still remains.

I have good news! The problem persists if the Pentax Photo Laboratory is installed under linux (wine-1.1.43). But if it is installed under windows and then it's directory copied into $HOME/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/ the software works without problems.
It's a strange behaviour to me, but it's good it works after all.

As for me, you can close it. It turns out that there is a problem with installer anyway, but once I have found the workaround, it does not 'hurt' me that much.
