--- Comment #3 from Paul Volkov xenofex@newmail.ru 2008-08-01 14:06:34 --- I'm having trouble with Yarxi, too. Yarxi and Wine versions are the same. However, I did see Access Violation with wine 0.9, but wine 1.1.0 just shows the radical field all black and it seems like bases aren't loading beacuse nothing works.

It's still valid with wine-1.1.27-63-g862bd3c and Yarxi 5.2
After the loading window, the main one shows up mostly covered by black, but if you hoover the mouse on some points, tooltips correctly come out with the kanji meanings in them. As soon as you try to close the app, it crashes and you need to manually kill it.

I see similar in wine-1.3.12-145-g020245b and Yarxi 5.4. It runs fine, I don't get black, and tooltips work. But closing it pops up a message box with the title ????, and no text, so I can't close it. I have to manually kill it.

--- Comment #10 from Luca Bennati lucak3@gmail.com 2012-03-11 06:20:25 CDT --- As of wine-1.4-78-g94953f1 and Yarxi 6.2, this bug seems FIXED. Even the problem mentioned by Austin English in comment 8 is resolved. Instead, the infamous error "OLE error 80004001" has appeared, when trying to read the help. Being already reported on Bugzilla, it seems related to the Internet Explorer component. Other than that, there is still an issue with non-visible menus, which appear only if you click on them, both on the main window and the child dialogs. I do not know this bug and don't know if it has already been reported, help would be needed on this matter.
