When being notified of updates, you can choose to view updates. When viewing these updates (using the Norwegian locale - don't know about the English one) some text is just jibberish. See attached screenshots.

Just the "view details" dialog, so you know what I am talking about. You get it when pressing "Help" in the menu, then "Updates..."

Oh, thought that was quite clear, but anyway: 1. Open Photoshop CS2. 2. In the top menu bar, press Help 3. In the fold down menu that appears, press Updates. A progress bar will appear, saying that it is checking for updates. If you haven't updated your system you will get this next dialog 4. Press "Vis detaljer" 5. The dialog box appears (see attached screen shot).

What distro are you using and how did you install Wine?
Ubuntu 8.04 Wine installed through the depos - not quite sure if it is the one from the Ubuntu repos, or the WineHQ one. wine --version just says 0.9.58.
