However, it used to show the fullscreen bar as "unnamed window" in the "taskbar" (gnome panel), that changed since 0.9.47 or 48. While that looks like a step in the right direction, it actually makes usability worse: After about 10 minutes of not using the viewer, it sort of crashes, the window does not get redrawn anymore. You have to restart the app to make it work again. That has always been the case, _but_ from my experience, this only happens when that fullscreen bar is shown. You were able to close it by right-clicking the taskbar entry, and select close. Now the taskbar entry is gone, you can't get rid of that damn thing anymore. If you click the X in the fullscreen bar itself, it closes the whole viewer.
