--- Comment #6 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- Works fine with wine 2.15, though the installer probably changed since then. Is this still an issue?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39623
--- Comment #7 from Nicolae Crefelean kneekoo@yahoo.com --- The intsaller changed indeed, but now there's another problem. By using wine 2.16 (staging) all I have is a black window. Is has the content there, I can drag it with my mouse and if I keep dragging from within the window I can grab certain content from it and I can read the text while dragging it. Unfortunately the text doesn't show in my screenshot but here's how the black window looks like. :) (spoiler: black)

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39623
--- Comment #9 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- Do we consider the old issue fixed then?
I don't even get that far, it crashes when trying to start it.
err:module:import_dll Library Qt5Svg.dll (which is needed by L"C:\Program Files\Origin\imageformats\qsvg.dll") not found
worked with wine-staging-2.15 though. How did you get past that? Can you try reinstalling in a fresh wineprefix with wine-staging-2.16 to see if the error is the same?

the original bug is still present. You have to use the installer from the time the crash was reported. I can't stress the importance of this enough.

Hello,
Also still affects the current Origin legacy installer:
https://www.dm.origin.com/download/legacy
$ sha1sum OriginThinSetup.exe 30a69ab0e0b5a069726f49a45cfa2bab26ad5906 OriginThinSetup.exe
$ du -b OriginThinSetup.exe 32325976 OriginThinSetup.exe
Origin 9.13.1.35109.
Backtrace similar to comment 11 (it doesn't show in the terminal output).
I'm adding the link to the AppDB entry of the legacy version, as it only affects legacy versions now.
Regards.
