--- Comment #1 from Sebastian Lackner sebastian@fds-team.de --- The crash is in winegstreamer, so its unlikely that this issue is Wine Staging specific.
Have you tried to disable winegstreamer in the winecfg libraries tab? And what is the terminal output when running the application? There might be hints that gstreamer plugins are missing.

It works for me in wine-2.1 and I can go ingame without crashing. Borders are blinking in all rainbow's colors in fullscreen but i believe it's driver problem on my side (#41283).
Like this (it was too fast for camera): http://giphy.com/gifs/mlp-l3q2wEuqIEujMsEO4
gstreamer crashes are often caused by missing 32-bit codecs.

No I have not tried that, and I don't know how to open the terminal.

--- Comment #6 from Louis Lenders xerox_xerox2000@yahoo.co.uk --- Hi Jakob, I got exactly the same crash as you; I had just before the crash:
fixme:gstreamer:watch_bus decodebin0: Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in.
The problem here is fixed here by installing gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly:i386 (thanks DarkPlayer for the tip)
(For me (on Ububtu) this also installed the following additional packages: gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly-amr libopencore-amrnb0 libopencore-amrwb0 libsidplay1v5)
Could you try if that helps?

Not sure yet I'll give it run tonight. The dev website for this game is defunct so downloading the game is a no go. It is basically abandonware/shareware now.
