Summary: Toca Race Driver 2 installer problem. Product: Wine Version: 1.1.5 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: rams@smartchat.net.au
I try to install Toca Race Driver 2, but the 'Now(Later)Technology' Installer refused to work when I click on it. I have to 'autorun' the icon or click 'setup.exe' when I explore & they both fail to confirm installation at the end of the event when I click on 'play'! Setuphardware runs, but goes no further.
Both it & Race Driver games make 2 entries in 'Wine uninstaller' list, which doesn't happen on 'real windows'!!
No 'bug reported'?!

--- Comment #3 from Reid Savage rams@smartchat.net.au 2008-09-25 10:36:09 --- I mean "I haven't seen any output of an error message of this 1" yet! I'm workin on submittin 1 if I find it!
It might be caused by the 'Wine uninstaller' program removal problem from the 'program menu'?!.

Please specify the current version of Wine that you are using and attach debug output as per http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log to the bug report.
