La-Mulana Jukebox is a freeware program that plays music, specific .MID and .SGT files, to be precise. However, trying to play music -- or even quitting -- causes an unhandled page fault. The quickest way to cause it is by typing Alt-F, Alt-X. This bug is still present in 0.9.59.

Crashes for me immediately on launch. Does it launch at all for you?
Yes, although I can't do anything useful; clicking nearly anything causes it to crash.

--- Comment #4 from Louis Lenders xerox_xerox2000@yahoo.co.uk 2008-04-08 13:16:41 --- Just using a bunch of native dm* files it seems to play music fine here, and doesn't crash. You'd have to figure out what dlls exactly have to be set to native to get it running. I used WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dmime, dmusic, dmloader, dmsynth, dmband, dmfile, dmstyle=n" wine LamulanaJukeBox.exe

--- Comment #7 from Jonathan Gevaryahu jgevaryahu@hotmail.com 2009-03-02 11:28:45 --- Note that the jukebox player is buggy, even in windows. On my laptop running Windows XP Tablet edition, after exiting the jukebox and its window closing, the LamulanaJukebox.exe remains open in the task manager until you manually kill it. This may well have to do with this bug.

--- Comment #8 from Jonathan Gevaryahu lord_nightmare@users.sf.net 2009-03-04 16:05:08 --- Also note that the jukebox player is not actually an integral part of la-mulana itself; its a standalone .zip file included in the main archive, containing a bunch of .mid and .sgt files (SEPARATE from the .mid and .sgt files which the la-mulana game itself actually uses!), and LamulanaJukebox.exe, which is the program this bug report is about.

Still present. 'winetricks directmusic' works around it.

--- Comment #10 from Andrew Eikum aeikum@codeweavers.com 2012-03-30 12:58:12 CDT --- With ed54e52590fb640ab7e72613c0081d5c6e168af7 in Wine, I don't get a crash here anymore. It doesn't play music, because that requires dmusic to be much more implemented, but it doesn't crash anymore.
