In updating Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 by the option Help/Check for Updates, Adobe_Updater.exe download updates but it crashes when trying to install them. The more noticeable error is: fixme:ntdll:NtLockFile I/O completion on lock not implemented yet

You're right, indeed, it's not a crash, just errors instead.

I don't have any windows version of adobe reader, I only have that of linux, and that version doesn't allow any update.

I wasn't even able to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 on my computer, it won't recognize the Internet Explorer 6 that I installed though winetricks. It's shown a window saying that I don't have installed Internet Explorer 6 or a greater version, then the installation quits off.

There is no console output. This could be due to Bug 18958, however.
