wine-stable-i386 upgrade logs (indicating error)

Hello,

OS -> Ubuntu 16.04
Installed Wine -> wine-stable-i386 (3.0.2~xenial)
Issue -> upgrade fails (i.e. broken dpkg) with error "unable to open
'/opt/wine-stable/lib/wine/fakedlls/notepad.exe.dpkg-new': No such file or
directory".
