Please attach the console output, if any.

--- Comment #2 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-01-31 18:24:43 --- Also did you tried un-mapping z: drive? Some brain damaged installers scan all HDD to find one file they need.

--- Comment #3 from elicoten@live.co.uk 2008-02-05 16:43:51 --- It would seem that this installer is of the 'brain-damaged' variety. Unmapping the Z drive means the installer no longer crashes whilst searching for Netscape, but during install, an error message pops up Title: "Self Registration Failure" Message: "The file c:\windows\system32\ivfsrc.ax failed to self register. This could be caused by a corrupt registry, or by corrupt or improperly installed DirectX Media runtime libraries"
But after the the installation does appear to complete, and winefile pops up as explorer would in Windows showing the start-menu icons it installs.

--- Comment #4 from elicoten@live.co.uk 2008-02-05 16:45:46 --- To answer previous questions:-
No console output, and this is not downloadable its commercial. The version I was installing is the one bundled with Traffic Giant but I'm sure its included with a few older games. Midtown Madness (1.0) Chicago also uses Indeo video technology but I don't think it uses the indeo installer - its built into the Midtown Madness installer.
