Could you post the terminal output when you try to run the program?

--- Comment #2 from winetest@luukku.com --- The title should also contain the game name. Now it's too common general issue.

--- Comment #3 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- Oblivion (Steam version) works fine here in 1.9.16.
You are probably missing 32 bit gstreamer. What distro are you on? If it's Debian, AFAIK it's impossible to install 32 bit gstreamer alongside 64 bit; the workaround in that case is to disable winegstreamer. If it's some other distro, make sure you have all the 32 bit gstreamer plugins installed (especially the "ugly" ones).

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41151
--- Comment #5 from Brandon Barker brandon.barker@gmail.com --- There were many gstreamer libraries on ubuntu 17.04. I tried installing a few to no avail - disabling winegstreamer using winecfg works.

--- Comment #6 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Debian based distros can not install 32-bit version of gstreamer plugins (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gst-plugins-bad0.10/+bug/1082442 )
This bug is not wine fault. Please, switch for a more decent distro if you want to play this game. Fedora is known to work fine with winegstremaer.
