Bug ID: 54638 Summary: amazon music does not let wineserver quit (on shutdown) Product: Wine Version: 8.3 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: wineserver Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: wine@stegm.de Distribution: ---
amazon music does not let wineserver quit (on shutdown). That results in waiting for systemd to kill wineserver after 2 minutes.
Or wineserver -k must be run as user before shutdown.

--- Comment #2 from Evan Griffith egriffith2004@yahoo.com --- I can confirm this issue to be happening. The process hangs every time Amazon Music is used regardless if the application itself was exited prior to shutdown command was sent.

--- Comment #3 from wine@stegm.de --- The problematic application is "Amazon Music Helper.exe". This application is not closed after Amazon Music is closed. A rename of the "Amazon Music Helper.exe" solves the problem. It does not seem to do anything anyway.
