--- Comment #1 from killertux killertux@suomi24.fi 2007-08-30 16:30:53 --- "Warning: the specified System directory L"c:\windows\system32" is not accessible."
That line indicates ~/.wine corrupted in some way... incorrect permissions... you have likely run this on root.
Anyway try with clean and fresh ~/.wine

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2008-06-16 13:02:32 --- Is this still an issue in current (1.0-rc5 or newer) wine?

I think it's still an issue, but I am able to start the game now. But it will crash once you try to start a new game... so I have no idea if the problem is related

--- Comment #6 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2009-02-26 11:14:14 --- Looks like copy protection, though google implies it's a trojan...do you know what protection it uses?

crash log from running the game, using current GIT
I think it's still an issue, but I am able to start the game now.
ntoskrnel.IoGetDeviceObjectPointer is stubbed out in git, so this particular crash should be gone
Please open new bugreports for any remaining issue you run into
