Hi Guys,

I seem to be getting corruption in this game. Firstly some system info:

Kernel Information:

Linux alex-desktop 2.6.30.5-custom #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Aug 25 07:36:18 EST 2009
x86_64 GNU/Linux

System memory: 4GB

Video Card: NVidia PCI-E 8800 GTS
Nvidia Driver version: 185.18.36
Linux Distro: Kubuntu

Initially tested with wine v1.1.24, tried v1.1.28, same issue. Game is patched
with latest patch.

Any ideas?

Game also will not start unless "emulate a virtual desktop" is enabled in
winecfg.

not major, http://bugs.winehq.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#importance

please search before filing bugs, dup of 6351 which covers bf2 graphics
problems.  It might work better with fbo enabled.   The not starting unless
virtual desktop is enabled is probably a configuration problem on your end, you
need to support the resolutions in X the game requests, virtual desktop just
works around this.
