On Wine 1.1.44 EA`s Game FIFA 10 does not work. See log for details.

On Wine    1.1.43 and older it worked, but very, very, very slow and
unplayable.

On Wine 1.1.20 it works just as in windows (and network game too with
vcrun2005) on ATI Radeon HD 3600 with latest fglrx.

This issue affects demo too. See download link.

Force using all dlls as builtin heps for me (no crash on 1.1.44)
But game is slow as in 1.1.43, I will find a wine version with bad commit.

After marking all dlls as builtin, I got folowing situation:

Wine 1.1.20 - works good
Wine 1.1.43 - does not work

Small research:
Wine 1.1.20, 1.1.21 - game works (but still slowly than on windows (because of
fglrx), the best wine versions for FIFA 10).
Wine 1.1.22 - works slowly, than 1.1.20, 1.1.21

1.1.22 - 1.1.43 - does not work

1.1.44 - works very, very, very slow, much slowly, than on 1.1.22

Wine wine-1.1.44-72-g658209b - FPS test

~3-5 FPS in match, ~10 FPS in game menus. Just like 1.1.44 (a bit slower,
maybe)

I can't confirm this bug report. I have no problem with starting in 1.1.44 and
no problem with performance drop:

* 30.5 FPS (wine-1.1.44-170-g69326aa)
 * 30.5 FPS (wine-1.1.44)
 * 30.4 FPS (wine-1.1.43)
 * 30.3 FPS (wine-1.1.42)
 * 30.3 FPS (wine-1.1.22)

I know that menus works well. (but my fps is slower).

Did you start the match? On match I got ~1 fps in latest wines.

OK, in game measurement and i still don't have a feeling, that something goes
wrong with latest development. No winetricks or DLL override used, measured
shortly after initial whistle, game's default graphics setting:

* 100 FPS (wine-1.1.44-170-g69326aa)
 *  92 FPS (wine-1.1.44)
 *  90 FPS (wine-1.1.43)
 *  56 FPS (wine-1.1.38)
 * 100 FPS (wine-1.1.33)

Any chance that you try that on nvidia instead of ATI?

PS: It looks like +fps desn't work for me < 1.1.30 for fifa.

My graphics settings are full high with 3D grass enabled. In 1.1.20 it works
very good, but in latest wines very slow.
Gentoo Linux, ATI Radeon HD3600, fglrx 9.4, linux-2.6.33.

Still present.
Menu is usable, but matches is very slow,
Also, in preview mode (for example when game is showing a close-up of players),
graphics is blind.
