Summary: Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines mouse became unresponsive Product: Wine Version: 1.3.18 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-dinput AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: i30817@gmail.com
The mouse in this game suddenly became unresponsive/slow, like if the camera movement was restricted on the center of the window always (it's also more than jerky).
I believe this happened after installing wine 1.3.18 (xinput2) but i compiled a older source ( wine-1.3.15-205-ge030b3c ) and it's doing it too.
It's possible it is the new dll that is interacting badly?

--- Comment #1 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2011-04-16 03:32:26 CDT --- What new dll? That means nothing.
And where is the console output? http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-a37de3282d447376d2220d20a278ae52258551a4

--- Comment #3 from paulo i30817@gmail.com 2011-04-16 04:46:05 CDT --- I was asking if new xinput library caused the bug on the old wine.
I have taken the liberty of adding the dinput channel to the trace, and attach it here (taken with WINEDEBUG=+dinput wine vampire.exe > bug.txt 2>&1 ) There are some other messages that i think are from the game itself in the output ( the Reference Count and No such variable )

--- Comment #4 from paulo i30817@gmail.com 2011-04-16 05:16:34 CDT --- I didn't thought to attach because the output is no different than "normal"
My dpkg.log says i update the kernel and x11-xserver-utils (and some other things) recently (unfortunately, dpkg.log has only 9 days recorded, since i am constantly updating the home machine.
