Running Fedora 10 (x86-64) with wine 1.1.12 (32bit). Screen setup is dual head

I run Diablo II in a window

wine .wine/drive_c/Diablo\ II/Diablo\ II.exe -w

And after exiting the game, the DVI-0 output is set to off, the display is fine
and active during the playing of the game.

Apps like notepad or winefile do not do this, so it might be something with the
DirectX layer.

I only have 1.1.23 in my distro (Fedora 11), but it still does it with that
version. I'll get back to you if this changes.

Yes, it still has the problem with wine 1.1.26 on both Diablo in windowed mode
and in fullscreen mode and even with Mesa running in software mode.

How can we reproduce this bug? Is this only valid for people who have a
dual-head display?

I have a dual head setup with an ATI x6xx series card. I'm using the open
source drivers fro the radeon card.

I've not ran into this problem in awhile since I have been running with virtual
desktop mode. This problem does not happen in that case.

I have this problem with Diablo 2 1.13, Ubuntu 10.04 x64, and wine 1.2.2.
xrandr resets and conveinently forgets everything dropping me into a
non-working mode. A restart of the system fixes the video problem.
