Please update wine first, you're using a really old version.

Hello,

it's as Nikolay said: you're using an outdated Wine version.

Installs and starts fine here.

$ du -sh install_virtualdj_home_v7.4.exe 
38M    install_virtualdj_home_v7.4.exe

$ sha1sum install_virtualdj_home_v7.4.exe 
718bbf007df7e96be4cac3c7c3a1df9fe2297478  install_virtualdj_home_v7.4.exe

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.3-187-gec28040

Installs and runs 1.7.19. Don't know if it crashes in use...
