Summary: MS WORKS can't find licence terms Product: Wine Version: 1.2.2 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: jpxsat@gmail.com
MS WORKS, the "light" office suite from microsoft(R) shows a message that says "can't show licence terms from microsoft software. Licence terms must show y be accepted before be able to use MS WORKS. To show licence terms, reinstall WORKS"

After this message, the application closes.
There are some reports of having overrule it by winetricks (see appdb) but should be a way to get it to work.

--- Comment #3 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2011-01-15 16:26:00 CST --- Which version of MSWorks? Looking at the appdb: "I used winetricks to install gecko, richtx32, msxml4, msxml6 (I don't know exactly which of this helped me). Then it didn't appear."
Try those one at a time and see which fixes it. I'm guessing richtx32, based on your terminal output...

--- Comment #4 from jpxsat jpxsat@gmail.com 2011-01-16 06:57:02 CST --- Sorry, it's MS Works 9.0
Just tried richtx32, didn't work. Now i can't find msxml4 or msxml6 (there's only msxm3,msxm4,msxm6 in winetricks menu - don't know wich one to use)
Now that richtx32 is installed, how can i uninstall it?

--- Comment #5 from jpxsat jpxsat@gmail.com 2011-01-17 06:58:16 CST --- Sorry about last comment, i was talking non-sense (don't know why i didn't see the "l" in msxml)
Searched a little, and learned to clear wine with rm -rf ~/.wine
Just tried a lot of combinations with the mentionned winetricks, even tried the exact combination mentionned in the appdb and still the same message.
What else can i do?
